The Junior Welfare League of Sarasota (JWL) was organized in 1957 with more than 75 members. In the 1970’s, the Junior Welfare League of Sarasota received official notice of acceptance into AJLI, and became the Junior League of Sarasota (JLS).

Today, JLS connects over 712 members to our community to act on tough issues and create impactful change – continuing its focus on women and children in Sarasota.
