CALLING ALL NEW PROVISIONALS!

 Welcome to the Junior League of Sarasota!

Your Provisional year in the JLS is designed to prepare you for effective community and League involvement by providing training to help you understand the JLS, to learn more about how we can fulfill the needs of our community, and to assist you in developing your skills and talents. During this year, you will meet fantastic women from various backgrounds. You will make lasting friendships and we hope you’ll have a lot of fun in the process! This is just the beginning of the unlimited opportunities that the Junior League has to offer. Membership in The Junior League is open to women of all races, religions, and national origins who share in our commitment to volunteerism and to improving our community.

We recognize the value and necessity of volunteerism within our community. There are many not-for-profit organizations in Sarasota, but our reputation for excellence sets us apart. Our members’ strong sense of commitment and responsibility make us unique. Accountability and reliability are essential qualities in League members. The initiative each one of you has taken, in seeking out the JLS and making an informed decision to join this outstanding group of women, demonstrates that you too have the qualities it takes to be a dedicated member of the Junior League of Sarasota.
